Main pool swimmers can have up to 3 free taster sessions before you make a decision to join -  please complete the   'Register for Trial' form with all your information and we will contact you to arrange mutually convenient taster sessions.

County Champs 2018
 

County Champs Qualifiers have increased again this year, which is fantastic news for both the club and the swimmers.Entries should be made via your email link to Swimclubmanager no later than Wednesday 13 December please. 

Any updated times from Chesterfield will be included in our submission, and any additional qualification events can be added on via email only please by Tuesday 19th December.

Relay teams will also be submitted so please keep the date free of Sunday 18 February.All counties this year are at Harvey Hadden and will be 50m pool.

Congratulations to Kallum Quirke who has been promoted to Nova Squad B2 and will be training with them full time from Monday.   
   
 

A big well done and thank you ...
 

A huge massive Well done goes out to Ben G and Sophie G who together organised a cake sale off their own doing at Fernwood Junior school. With the help of Isla C and Millie M, they raised a whopping £97.93 for Radford Swimming Club.

(This has broken the record for school cake sales according to the Headteacher!).

Radford Race Night Success...

Sponsorship Deal and Volunteer Award
 

 




The club are delighted to announce that in 2017 our sponsorship with Permabond Laminates Ltd will continue. I am sure plenty of you will have seen our County Qualifiers proudly wearing their County T-shirts with Permabond displayed as our sponsors.

At our recent presentation evening we were delighted to launch the first winner of the Permabond Laminates Trophy. This is a new award given to our "Young Volunteer of the Year". Our Junior coaches/volunteers have become a vital part of our coaching/teaching team at the club. It gives them a fantastic opportunity to gain experience and develop their skills with our swimmers. In return, our senior coaches have received some wonderful assistance poolside and provides valuable cover when needed.

After speaking with Dave at Permabond, who is an employer of young persons on apprentices, it seemed fitting that an award should be established to recognise their contribution. Here is Brittany with her trophy at the presentation evening and she also received an I-Tunes donated by Dave. A lovely gesture.
