Minumum of County Qualifying times and aiming for Regional times but training will take us through to aiming for National Standards too.
Regular attendance, and regular member of all league galas.
|Regular attendance. Commitment to Club Galas, Open Meets, Club Championships and all competitive swimming and setting a high standard example for the younger squads.
|Swimmers are expected to attend on a regular basis each week, building to 10 sessions per week as the swimmer advances. Professional Gym based sessions are available at an extra cost, but swimmers are also expected to supplement their swimming with land work at home or in the gym.
|Club, County, Regional and National Championships if qualified. Arena league dates should be noted and other commitments avoided if possible. Other team league and trophy galas if selected should be attended if available. All targeted open meets and qualifying meets and entry of events being targeted in consultation with Lead Coach.
Alignment Kickboard; snorkel; pull buoy; parachute; finger paddles; agility paddles all to be carried in a mess bag to every training session.
1 x 1 litre of water/squash per hour of training in water and on land.
Club Hat and spare for competition and training hat (if worn)
Goggles, plus spare and separate racing goggles also desirable plus spare.
All kit to be labelled with your name please.
