East Midlands Senior Champs

	Holly Strikes Gold at this years East Midland Championships..
	We took a team of 11 Radford SC swimmers to this years Regional Championships, Hannah Clay, Charlotte Lomas, Malaika Mathiason, Holly McGarva, Isabella Sheridan, Eric Anscombe, Ollie Clay, Ryan Patel, Louis Round, Kyle Simpson, & Daniel Wilson. It was a fantastic long weekend of swimming, tiring but well worth it. Well done to everyone that competed and especially to Holly McGarva who shocked us all by winning her 15 Yrs 200m Breastroke Final collecting a Gold Medal and then followed it up with Silver in her 15Yrs 50m & 100m Breastroke Finals. Unbelievable performances in all three races and huge pb's. Well done. Kyle Simpson picked up a Silver medal in the Mens open 50m Butterfly and got 5th in the Mens open 50m Freestyle Final, proving that a couple of hours a week in the pool and a heap of work in the gym really can work for the sprint events. Well done Kyle... Congratulations to our other Finalists too, Hannah Clay, Dan Wilson, Louis Round and Eric Anscombe, all making finals, Louis in the 15years and the others in the open age group. A Fantastic weekend for the club, very proud parents and coaches....
