A hugely emotional month and day for us all. Today saw us say an emotional farewell to our former swimmer and Head Coach, Dean Anscombe who sadly passed away unexpectedly last month. 

 Dean was a Radford swimmer in his youth and took on the Head Coach duties in 2012 and drove forward the modern day revival of the club until 2018. We all continued to see Dean throughout the last 2 years and as our President in 2019 was still a hugely popular member of the Radford family being a coach, mentor, friend to so many. 

 A member of the 1987 National Speedo League Champions team. He trained with Nova and enjoyed success at Junior County, Regional and National levels going onto represent England as a junior. 

Thank you to everyone who joined us outside Oldmoor Lodge today from our friends at Nottingham Leander SC and the wider Nottinghamshire swimming community. It was a very powerful and emotional moment that meant the world to us. 

Our thoughts are with Liz, Millie, Eric parents Andy & Glenis and Trudy & Paul and their families at this terrible time. 

Thank you Dean. You will be missed and never forgotten.
